Database last updated 9th May 2007

Having been unable to find a free database of UK & Éire towns/villages matched to their counties and thinking that this is  something which should be available to all developers at no cost, we  decided to work something up ourselves.

It's almost done now, but if you would like to contribute to finishing the data, please contact us and we will supply you with an Excel file containing 30 entries that  need matching to a county. This should be a simple enough task if you  own a road atlas as the counties are usually listed next to the place  names in the index.
